Do you have to grow out a keratin treatment like a relaxer?

sooo you can actually flat iron before applying the product?

@caseylowe2 no I flat ironed before applying the color. The color had to be rinsed out before the bkt could begin.

I see you say it wears off in three months, I hear BKT's have chemicals in them, if I get one after 3 months (since some of my hair has chemicals ) will I have to cut the BKT ends like if I had a relaker or will my natural hair all go back to its afro stage just like before? (Is the reverting process similar to chemically colored hair like a rinse in terms of after 8-10 shampoos you get your natural color back, or is it like a relaxer , once you go you have to cut it to go back natural?P

i dont mind if it gets really staight while the bkt is in but as long as it reverts back once it completely wears off.

ok i'm definitly thinking about getting this the next time i get a full sew-in so that it'll blend in better

@ksmiles203 Yes it does revert back you have to keep up with it maybe every 4-5 month if you want it to stay straight. If you don't want it to be very straight just do it one time and that's it, your hair will be back to normal. Updates***I finally put perm in my hair but it's the very gentle one the one with natural olive oil(African Pride), then did bkt and my hair came out just sooo beautiful,bouncy, shiny just like the one in this vid. I LOOOOOVE it!!!

@canadianhaitian i'm sry i know this was 4 months ago but u said it loosened ur curl? bc im transitioning into natural hair but i thought this might be good to where my hair straight from time to time, my question is Did your hair completely revert back to its natural state? I wanna stay natural so I don't want anything to permanently straighten my hair
