@widdlewabbitds uhm you do realize that the message is that a lot of people take video games and guitars and stuffed animals and all of their toys they get from "Santa" for granted and this video shows that none of those things matter if you are in the situation of being homeless. Its telling people who watch it to give others what they truly need and not what they just want. So you took the video the wrong way. It was supposed to be a funny but purposeful video.

@widdlewabbitds I've noticed tho that its the people that have never been in that kind of situation that are most likely to be offended by things like this because (IMO) they don't like to be reminded that these problems exist. I've always believed that is the true reason for "political corrective-ness" is not so much to be considerate of the misfortunes of others but to be more comfortable with the misfortunes of others

@widdlewabbitds have you ever been homeless? I have & I found that this vid strikes really close. I lived on the streets for a couple years in SF & on christmas & thanksgiving one of the things that some of the charities would hand out was raw turkeys. every year. now in SF even if u have a place chances are if you were poor you lived in an SRO, a single room that sometimes had a closet & sink. what the hell could you do with a raw turkey? this vid reminded me of that & yes I laughed too
