I kinda feel sorry for that father. Not because "a video game made fun of his daughter"... I feel bad for him because he THINKS that a video game made fun of her daughter. This is a perfect example of people thinking that video games cannot be a form of art. Characters are no more 5 pixels containing sprites with no personality. They can have "real" personalities like in books and movies. So Wheatley says what he says and that tells about his character. Hate the character not the game.
