Well said good sir. As a person who has met some of the best friends she's ever had through the internet (mainly deviantART) I can agree with so many of your points. Yes the internet can be dangerous, but it's not fair to tar all internet users and meet-ups with the same brush. All the devmeets i have ever been to have been fun, chilled, friendly and most importantly, SAFE
BTW, I'm chuffed about how many of those snapshots I appear in XD

Also, I would like to say that I met the lady I was with for 3 years on Bebo! Not everyone is a fucking internet pedo!!!

@unclewoodstock Indeed, I agree with your points. I only hope your video and others like it spread a bit more; the Internet is put in a ridiculously darkened light because of 'failing education systems' (which I personally blame on the parents for reasons too length to discuss here) and suchlike.

I've left general feedback on the other part, but just a thought: maybe you should have made it clear that younger people can come to these meets too, people under the drinking age, and a lot of meets are held in parks so everyone can attend. After all its younger kids whos parents will be needing to teach them internet safety. Just a nitpicky thing, I'm aware that you shot the footage at a pub crawl and did include photos of park meets (which I expect I'm in somewhere :D)
Recently I met a friend I know on deviantART, and have talked to over MSN and various other chatting means. It was...absolutely fine. We both knew who the other person was, and we both (not just for travel, presumably) had our parents with us. Sure, I was - to her mum - this tall, almost intimidating boy relative to her same-age, small daughter, but I was the boy I said I was. It was very pleasant, meeting my friend. Still...the Internet's shown in a too-negative light, as you say. Right shame.

@MrTranceNinja Hence why i made the film, i assume you are not some predator so accusing everyone you ever speak to online as one is just stupid
