The Minnesota Red Ribbon Ride is an annual 300-mile bike ride from the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN, to Rochester, MN and back again to St. Paul, our capitol. The Ride is to bring awareness of HIV and AIDS issues, as well as a fundraiser for 8 Minnesota HIV/AIDS beneficiaries, who use it to support and care for people suffering from the disease.
This year the Ride raised over $420,000 for these local charities. It is an amazing experience, one which I believe everyone who believes in fighting against HIV and AIDS should take a part in. This was my second year on the Ride and I will definitely be back again next year.
I was honored and privileged enough to be given the chance to put together this year's wrap-up video for the ride, to try to illustrate the various high points of the Ride this year, and I hope it inspires people to take a look into it and hopefully donate or participate. You can find out more about the Red Ribbon Ride at http://www.redribbonride.org.
