Are you sure it's not good despite its trite and boring message? Please recall that my comment began with the qualifier: "This song's really nice, and the melody is soft and lovely" :V I didn't click the dislike button on the video either. The lyrics are boring as hell. The melody is soft and lovely.
Also, having no dislikes doesn't mean it's good, it means nobody's seen the video. It's been up since 2008 and has less than 6000 views. The most viewed upload probably has more than zero dislikes.

@shaddowkarate Given the fact that this song has yet to receive a dislike and countless videos are posted with overwhelmingly good comments, in this case, having meaning does make it good.

@dciguy01 The sky is blue and the grass is green and the ocean is blue and the stars are white against a sky that is black and blue and these are all words that all are true but that doesn't make this song that I'm singing good and neither do run on sentences that never pause but I want this song to continue to blah blah blah
Just because it means something doesn't make it good. 90% of songs mean at least something. :V

You know, singer... you're allowed to not fill every second of the second of the song with your voice. A little silence once in a while might actually sound better than your fumbling over your words.
