Train Festival 2009 - Nickel Plate Road 765

Tennessean Rail Videos went to the mess of Train Festival 2009 (FoamFest). This is the second of three HD videos featuring the three locomotives which you could actually kinda chase at the Festival.

The first was of SP 4449 featuring run-bys at several nearly foam-free locations on Friday. This video features NKP 765 on Saturday and then the next will be of the LRRR 110. I was very impressed with the event, mostly the "chasing". I still prefer chasing TVRM trains on the C&C. There was too many people to deal with and you couldn't get many shots. And yes, I had some bad experiences with not only many of the Yankee foamheads, but also with some of the moronic staff members.

@Rockinrailroader765 yah i saw 4449 in June by accident on my way to Calgary to catch catch Calgary stampeede which I got to by rideing Rockey Mountaineer out of Vancouver Bc and rode 844 in July via takeing Amtrak back to Denver so in all that I missed the chance to get to Owasso for steam the festable passing 4449 in June was a real suprise but the dispacher screwed up getting a shot of her from the Amtrak we passed to close outside town

@Rockinrailroader765 yes I was on it instead so I wasnt able to get back to Owasso in time but hell that was the first tme I got to see 844 for real and ride her so I jumped on the chance I was on my way to Calgary Alberta in June when I passed the 4449 on here way to Owasso outside of Havre Montana I was in the dineing car on the westbound Empire Builder when I hear the dispacher talking to 4449 on the radio we missed her though no shot we passed to close outside town in a sideing

I would agree with CSX6000, you have to make your presence known. Trains seem to bring out the idiots more so than other things, in my experience. I saw a lot people during the Train Festival that weren't not all there!
