You are so awesome! I've been trying to grow roses for the past couple years in hopes of having those beautiful arbors, fences etc just full of blooms, but instead I get some sticks with a few blooms on them. You have answered so many questions I have had about how to grow and prune my roses. (and I still haven't learned about the fertilization aspect yet) ....I am so excited now to get find my pruning clippers and start cutting! Thank you so much! I will be watching your videos frequently.

hello sir AshdownRoses,,, your vid is really helpful,, i just wanna ask,, im here in a tropical country and i have climbing rose seeds (well soon to come) ... how will i make sure that my climbing rose will surely grow?.. aside frm taking care of like like my other rose?.. does it need some special care?...

@claireisraellove It doesn't really need special care. Just like any other climber. I'm curious. Where are you getting rose seeds from? Very unusual to be sold that way.

oh i am loving your videos! i have been looking at them just terrified to touch or even look at them funny. moved into a home that had roses loved the blooms but just not sure how to keep them coming and keep my now one 1/2 year old from scratch himself when he got too close now i feel i can take on these gorgeous plants and keep them. Thank you so much

You can take care of Don Juan just any other climbing rose. It's very easy to work with. As to what kind of trellis a lot of that is up to you in terms of what you think will like good in your garden. If you want wood something like a 4x8 foot lattice sheet would work. Where are you going to put the trellis?
