I think i need to address a few things as a formerly competative Irish Dancer. First off this is not Irish at all. This style is called French-Canadian Stepdancing and developed on its own in the lumber camps of Quebec. While the style may look Irish, it developed fully right here in Canada.

@morigue I learn step dancing weekly from Chrissy Quigley- one of the Leahys. And knowing both Donnell and Natalie quite well I can say without a doubt that the style is French-Canadian. Regardless- can we just appreciate the talent involved nonetheless?

@kateca85 Leahy says their style is a combination of French-Canadian, Scottish (Cape Breton step dancing came from the oldest form of Scottish) and Irish. A lot of crossover ;)
