Aerial View POV Crash with Camera on Plane

Crashing my Aerobird 3 from over 500 feet.

My Canon Powershot SD1000 is what I take all my videos with. Its a tank. I need to write a review saying it survives 500 feet falls and keeps recording!

I will take a video like this again, but I need to take it very easy, the purpose of the flight is to take video, not see what loops look like from on the plane. I can get an extremely clear shot when I cut the throttle and glide, this whole video is under power and not the best I can get.

The impact of the crash destroyed the fuse, but everything was still working when I walked over. Thats impressive.

I already have a replacement fuse, so with a new wing I can be up and flying again!

Dude the ABX was more than 500 ft over remember the airplane range is 2500 ft ratio. It take 10 second to fall that really high! and you forgot to use a stick to support the wing!

I didn't have access to the support wing at the time, but now I know better. I was guestimating on the height, it might of been higher.

ok until the end i thought you were in the plane. and it was on of those super light one man planes and you crashed from 500 ft. i was gonna be like fuck the camera, are you ok? but then it was a remote control...
