This is a concert I got a few years ago. It's pro shot and the sound isn't bad except the bass drum is kinda loud.

  • Ahh, REM from their golden era. I can't describe how much their music meant to me back then.

  • I was at this show...damn if it wasn't hot as hell that afternoon!

  • Oh cool! Please let me know if you do that.

Hehe.. and yes. I spent countless hours as a teenager playing along to Fables and Reckoning. Good times!

  • no silly at all.. i spent many hours playing through fables in my room-hence the name i got lol!! hes a great rythm player and as a single note picker hes definetly one of the best. im gonna put a vid up one day of me playing sumin off fables maybe good advices or kohoutek!!

    peace!!

  • Fantastic! You're welcome bud... I had a few flanger pedals back in the day... along with a few different delay pedals... one analog and one digital (at different times). Was always fun to try to emulate the sounds of my favorite guitarists.

Sounds silly, but Peter Buck taught me how to play guitar.

  • Nice one man..funnily enough i just brough a flanger 3 days ago i also have a chorus pedal and your right man i got a buck sound our of it. its real sweet.

get a kool smiths sound too!! woo!! thatnks dude!!

  • Back then... in 1985.. and this would just be a guess... I would say that it was a simple flanger or chorus pedal not turned up too high. This seemed to be Peter Buck's "sound" around the time of Fables of the Reconstruction that seemed to get dumped around Pageant a year later for a more clean guitar sound.. JMO

  • does any1 know what pedals if any buck uses?

  • No shit,man !!

Look at all the songs they had cranked out all these years.

    I love them all !!

  • rem is the greatest band to come out of the 1980s
