Anchor bommie on the western side of Lady Elliot Great Barrier Reef. After descending down to the bommie we found this massive 12' manta slowly circling the bommie and it completely ignored us.
We were lucky enough to get quite a few photos and this footage, at one stage the manta literally grazed the head of Richard, the LEI Dive instructor Richard Strian who shot the footage. We spent quite a while just watching the huge manta slowly circle the coral bommie completely at ease and oblivious of us watching.
