Agreed. i see your point, I dunno what i was thinking, my comment was'nt well thought out. Thanks for the correction tho, we are trying hard to come out from the underground scene foreals tho true. I used to practise Vovinam in boston with master Nguyen Binh but I've since moved to vegas, wheres theres no vovinam only Dau vat- a small traditional vietnamese wrestling club. I miss viet vo dao shit vovinam had all the viet styles in one! aite peace dawg

well vvn is working to become an international martial arts like karate, tkd, kung fu ect., so i would believe its important to care what others think. since yellow belt = black belt, each stripe would equate to 1 degree black belt international standards. So wearing 6 stripes would lead one to believe that he is a 6 degree black belt... this is the first time ive seen anyone wear 6 stripes. but anywais the vvn ranking system is 3 stripes...
