  • Wow; what a rude social worker that was if her action was on purpose. It could have been accidental was she drinking from a water-bottle or something equivalent? Was she scratching at her face or arm. That was uncalled for if she was doing it out of spite. I took abnormal psychology as an elective to fullfill the psychology requirement of my degree plan. I'm not going into the field. There are better videos on youtube about reality. This was a silly class assignment. I made an A :)

  • @SmartiesGoMad This is exactly the reason why I took Abnormal Psychology and Clinical Psych to LEARN about people! :) Well, those courses were required for my degree plan too. Yeah I know there are people who have REAL issues out there. I am not going to be a psychology major. I would get all kinds of frustrated beyond belief - but I'm glad there are people out there who do have the skills and patience to work with adults in our world touched with varying degrees of mental illness..

  • I didn't want to touch the myriad of the meds given out today. I was being respectful to the parties I touched on - But I made this for class it got me an A+ on the project - so interject and say what you will but understand that this was just an elective - and in order to obtain any kind of degree plan you do have to take upper level electives. Abnormal Psychology is a senior level course. Why don't you crack open a book and do research instead of threating college students.

  • Wow - way to totally miss the point @hezekiahbiles - as I stated in a comment before - It was a class project. An assignment. I got an A+ and yeah it's not perfect - psych 101 / Abnormal Psychology 101 is not everything but I read through about 17 various detailed actual patient acconts with their dr's / therapists / and occassionally a social worker - Obviously, only Dr's can prescribe meds. That's a given - Thorazine is no longer used. It's a dead drug. Why I used it!

  • It got me an A+ on my Abnormal Psychology Project for last semester - It's basically a bunch of actual cases put together - the weird thing is is that the diagnoses came out the same undifferentiated. Thorazine was the brand I used as a precaution as it is rarely used - but if a patient were to be agitated and acting out it's equivalent would be used. It's basically true to the facts I was privy to see.

  • Do ya push any dope on the street? ya don't need a medical degree to push dope. Why waste time?

Just get out there, there are lots of druggies who like the stuff you 'used as a precaution.' The gap-tooth poor, dirty dope heads will pay and pay until they have nothing, Psych dope dealers will cut the dope off their customers [patients] too when the costumer's [patient's] insurance runs out. If there is any insurance. You are a scary fucker. A punch in the head; your total net worth:

    DOPE PUSHER.
