hey man i got a 2001 ds650. its has a full white bros exhaust its jetted and it has a moose air filter. and it is slow? i got beat by a stock 400ex and a stock 450r and a cr85 (but that has alot of work done to it)?

@itsjustmecody Your bike should beat those bikes even if it was stock. Are you sure its jetted right, does it pop or get hot. I put about 10 bikes on a 450r when mine was stock. Let me know

I just put the last bolt in that motor about an hour before this video. Now I have a full grab bar, and there is no way my pipe will get damage. Stayh tuned this year for the addition of a stroker crank.

hi nice bike i just bought yesterday a 2006 DS 650 X please can u tell me the difference between my ds 650 X and a DS 650 BARJA X coz im struggling 2 find any difference would really appreciate a reply thx again.

@Nutritious2 hey man i have the same model as you do but it only has hmf slip on k an n an re jetted but when you turned your key on i heard your fan come on also but mine dont maybe its not hot enough here or somethin hell i dunno thanks

@Nutritious2 10 lengths on a 450r in what a 3 mile race? if u race 300ft stock ds650 vs stock 450r the ds650 gets raped. i owned a 03 ds650baja, and now a ds450. the 650 was big bore 730/cams/porting/big ass carb/drag pipe/new cdi. and now my 450 is just high compression/intake cam/exhaust and my 450 would eat the 650 all day long. the 650's kick ass but it takes quite a bit to make them really fast

Yes.. but why is it so HUGE and out there! And why don't you have a grab bar.. if you go back you are going to tear off your muffler then your rear fenders!

You have to go to Ron Woods racing, those are the only cams sold for these bikes.

Man if you really want to get your bike shiny, I used Mothers aluminum wheel polish and just rubbed it on all over the plastic. All of the grit in the polish gets into all of the little scratches you may not see. Then hit it with some "Plastic New" from Honda.

You can start it either way. It doesn't hurt the bike as long as it is in neutral. Thanks for the comment.

i got a question . why do you hold the clutch in when you stert the bike ? i never do that with my ds , is that bad ?
