Encourage them to contact CNN, it would be nice, they are also on the CFC list, federal employees can contribute money to NAD bi-weekly as low as 5.00 and it's a tax break to those who contribute. There are many listed under Deaf.

Speak of sending the check of $40, and you still didn't rec'd the letter of 'thank you' ... ah, I am not surprised because the skill of the etiquette from deaf community is still poor. We need to improve on that kind of behavior, and learn how to say 'thank you', etc. in proper way.
Does NAD really wok hard? That still doesn't convinced me. One thing, I have to agree with you ... they need to work on their visible ... big time.

NAD do have a media room. Encourage them to use it more often.

About $40 not being subtracted inyour checkbook, that responsibility lies with Shane Feldman, COO of NAD. Why am I not even surprised?
