Saw this on the big screen back in '66 when I was 16 and yeah, boy, I got hot watching it! My mom was next to me and I am sure she was regretting she and my dad had taken me to such an adult film! I think my dad must have gotten hot too and I wonder what my parents talked about after we got home! Yeah, the costume was a kind of dopey design but that body sure saved it!

I was in my early teens when I first saw this and believe me it was IMPRESSIVE! And it still is. Cyd Charisse is wearing basically a one piece bathing suit but is light years hotter than any of the current crop of all but unclad H'wood starlets. And that vocal by Vikki Carr--yeah--it got hot!

Flint and Helm are the best of spoofdom. Always best to watch with gin martini in hand. First time I saw this was with my dad, age 9 or 10. My eyes almost popped out of my head when Charisse appeared, enrobed and dangling. My mother came into the room and told me it was a grown-up movie, and it was time for me to retire for the evening.

I never understood the excessive comments about the costume. It's a bodysuit- spots or no- and what a body it fitted!! Ms. Charisse was nothing short of an amazon, even in her years as a Vegas dancer in the 1960's-70's alongside her crooner husband. And I only mention her age because she completely defies it in this clip. What a dame!!
