28,6 s - Porsche 911 GT2 RS (7,6 s faster than the 997 GT2)
32,3 s - Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera (458 Italia: 32,4 s)
35,4 s - Corvette ZR1 (lines up with MotorTrend's 35,5 s time)
42,2 s - Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG (loses power at higher speeds)
50,6 s - Lexus LFA (no comment...)

54,3 s (to 280 km/h) - BMW M3 GTS (I knew it won't do 300 km/h...)

@philonetic It was a "niche" car, built only to show off what was possible. From my understanding the Veyron is more like a Maserati or a Bentley. A pretty cruiser thats fast. VERY fast. And starting to discuss FD3's is just stupid. Do you really think the Veryon was aimed at people caring about how much it costs?

Sad when $2.4 million gets crushed by a $10,000 FD3s with $2,000 of upgrades at the first turn, much less a $50,000 factory American daily driver like the Z06.

@utrolig Well what is it built for then? The factory version is limited at 253mph so that makes the public model Aero I faster. The McLaren F1 is faster 0-300. The Ultima GTR is faster 0-100-0. The Z06, Zr1, Skyline, Gt2, etc all beat it on track. What WAS it built for? If Veyron is so comfortable at speed, then why are 1/2 the owners crashing them? Veyron is the most useless thing to ever harass the real motor sports world. Please read previous posts o.o

@philonetic Thing is, I highly doubt that any of the cars you mention can go their topspeed so effortlessly and comfortably. The Veyron was never supposed to be an insane "track car" built for cornering.

@xilix im sorry sir it was a prank by one of my friends.. they saw me logged into my account and they put some b.s over there.. im serious.. i totally agree with everything you you mentioned and i do appreciate cars for how they have revolutionized the industry, and mostly love them because of how fun they are to drive i will never hate on any car because it may have something better than another car and i also still desire cars that i loved in my childhood this was a small misunderstanding:)

You're just being a contrarian and a yet another bias, pseudo auto enthusiast, who instead of appreciating cars for what they are; hates them for what they aren't, adding nothing but negativity to the hobby. That, is what immature people do, not kids. The REAL auto enthusiasts ARE kids, that's why we do it, because that part of us that LOVED cars for what they ARE never grew up. Try it sometime.
