I love this view. It is a little isometric (I think), but still You look from top and clearly see everything. Civ 2 is the best strategy game I played. If only Sid focused on improving gameplay (too many cities to manage, too many units to control - especially engineers, problems with diplomacy, IMHO stupid sabotages), instead of changing graphics to WORSE, then maybe we I'd still play Civilization 3.

As much as Civ 3-5 have improved the gameplay, none of them have captured the feel of Civ II. Ii just feels right.

I use the arrow keys. On the right side of the keyboard, if you don't have a laptop, and disable Num Lock.
