The jazz guitar player from the swedish band Lasse Nilsson Trio shows off his chromatic chord changes, soloing over different rythmic altered chords, melody lines in soloing, advanced phrasing, scales and timing.
The hard bop licks are inspired by Joe Pass and the whole 40s decade of bebop.

I'd say this lesson is inspired more by Nat Adderley, the brother of Canonball. Also Gil Evans, Ari Behn and Srikant Duggirala. Worth to mention is that the dim7 chords at 4:27 are copied from Gus Lucasworth's book "The Advanced Guitarists chord progressions"
