She sang this song. I think it was real for her. She committed suicide over a man & she battled depression. So sad for such a gorgeous, talented woman. I cried when I heard she died.

I have watched this so many times and I will never get tired of it. This woman could sing and is soooo sorely missed, R.I.P. Phyllis Hyman. Your music reminds us of how amazing you truly were!

It's sad to say, but many women can relate to this gorgeous woman. You expect your life to go a certain way, but it doesn't turn out that way. I can definitely relate. Her voice is just stunning and is missed.

So emotional. This song make me cry because the pain in her music was her actual life.I will never understand how she could be so beautiful,talented and successful yet be so miserable and lonely. Life is not easy. I just wish she knew how much she was loved. I wish she was strong enough to hold on.
