A history documentary about the development of the Monterey Sports Center and its significance to the community. Features interviews with Mayor Chuck Della Sala and former mayors Dan Albert and Clyde Roberson; former Recreation and Community Services Director Kay Russo; former Recreation Commissioner David Canepa; Ted Balestreri, who helped lead the fundraising and City Manager Fred Meurer. All had a hand in the conception and development of the facility.

The Monterey Sports Center has been a wild success over the past two decades. It is now the largest and most complete family fitness center in the region.
