Red Bull Cliff Diving Series 2009 - Story clip Stop 1 - La Rochelle

If you pass the Saint Nicolas Tower in La Rochelle these days you will notice busy goings-on in the catacombs. Fourteen men rumbling around, coming out, taking 120 steps to the top of the former jail in deep concentration and finding a short stop on the very edge of a 27.5m high platform outside the tower before acrobatically diving into the 16° cold water of the Bay of Biscay. Preparations and training for the first stop of the Red Bull Cliff Diving Series 2009 is under way.
