  • @MultiKeter

Aramaic is an Assyrian language in the same sense that English is an American or British language, etc.

  • @MultiKeter

What's so funny? Saying we "speak" Assyrian is a colloquial in our community.

  • @MultiKeter Es giebt keine Assuriche sprache nur Arameich alle di sprache studiren wissen dise fact

  • @MyPhysics101 Hahahaha yeah sure "Slang" !

  • @dodgejack7 why dont you prove the opposite?

  • @MultiKeter

In the community we just refer to our language as Assyrian because we know what we are actually talking about, it's like slang.

  • @21stStreetReviews the reason God is Elah in Aramaic is because it is derived from the Hebrew Elah, which is itself derived from the proto-Semetic Elah, shared by the Jews, the Caananites, and the cultures of the region, generally - long before the arab invasion

  • Beautiful :)))

  • Wow, it's our long lost cousins. Interesting that others still use sapha aramit bishvil tefilot. good stuff ve shlamayateichem.

  • The reason why God is called Elah in Aramaic and Allah in Arabic (Islam) is because Arabic is derived greatly from Aramaic. Aramaic came before Arabic.
