hi

I bought Extremes 1 month ago. Nice game :)

As a real sailor (i own a yacht sailboat) and kayaker, I enjoy this during times when I am not able to go out on the real water. This is a great sim and there is nothing like it out there. Only other one I ever known of was virtual sailor, which was good during its time. I had purchased the very first release of ship sim. They have came a very long way with this, and as a result it is improving much as flight simulator has through its times.

PC Gameplay, the madman.

haha! Has anyone seen the Transcribe captions option? I don't think it's very accurate
-
whats his favourite ship?
-
I'm looking forward to that bombastic thing!

Is this Frank Dolmans a former member of the PC Gameplay magazine crew?

it is a good game though but I think they could do a better job. I am not complaining i hope my comment helps improve the game. You guys have done a great job and I look foward to playing the new version.

I dont know, the last shipsim was really unrealistic when it came to ship handling. There was no prop walk when backing down or in foreward propulsion. This is critical on single prop vessel. Also there was some issues with the rudder controls in reverse they were not realistic. Driving a ship is not like driving a car. I could moore any of the ships in the game with no problems. I did not have to plan my aproach in other words. More detail should be put into the game design.
This does look cool, and I'm not even a sailing enthusiast. Might be kind of cool to have an economics sim behind this - go from one port to another - hauling goods for fun and profit. Like Elite but on the ocean : D
Oooh! That even sparks the idea of having Somali pirates! That would be awesome X-D
