Bellingham ultra marathon runners Barb Macklow, age 76, and Vicki Griffiths, age 67, talk about their experiences and philosophies of running and training for 100 mile endurance runs including Rocky Raccoon 100 and Umstead 100. Aside from the amazing accomplishments they've achieved at their ages, these two ladies are more than just training partners, they are also great friends.

  • My favorite line . . . "At 76 I am starting to fell my age a little bit sometimes". You hear this all of the time people at 36. Keep at it ladies.

  • I am so inspired! I want to be just like them when I grow up!! It's also good to know that I have 20+ years to prepare for my first ultra. I truly believe the secret to a long and happy life is to never stop running. : )

  • I've known Barb and Vicki for about 10 years also and they continue to inspire me. They bring a smile to my face whenever I see them on the trail or at a race. Thanks Barb and Vicki for showing us all how to just keep running!! You truly are an inspriation to us all!!

  • Awesome video. Very well produced. Great job, Trac2point0!

  • I've been toying with the idea of running a 100 miler, but my family says I am insane to even consider it. Thank you for posting this video. You have shown that age doesn't even come into endurance running. It is all about attitude. Run Strong, ladies. You are an inspiration to all of us. :)

  • Supercool!!!

  • I'm humbled.... seriously.

  • These women just set the bar for everyone under their age. For me, this is all the motivation I needed!

    Thank you for this
