Guiding Light - November 1982 - Rebecca Moves In

Quinton goes in to see Rebecca for the first time since getting her bandages off. He is amazed as to how she looks. He quickly apologizes to her for all the crimes he feels he has committed against her. She suddenly looks sad and he asks her what is wrong. She writes on the paper to him, "Why should I hate you?"

Before he can answer, Sara McIntyre comes in and tells Quinton he needs to leave because Rebecca has an appointment and can't be late. He rises quickly and leaves her room followed by Sara McIntyre as the nurse brings in the wheel chair. Rebecca is wheeled out and Nola runs into Sara at the nurses station. Sara tells Nola she is taking a patient to an appointment, and when Nola asks if it's Rebecca, Sara confirms it is. Sara excuses herself just as Rebecca is wheeled past the nurses station with Quinton alongside her. Nola sees this but hides in the elevator and leaves.

Quinton goes to the cafeteria and runs into Henry Chamberlain. Quinton sits down and they start to talk about Henry's health issue. Henry inquires about why Quinton is concerned and Quinton informs Henry that he had a visit earlier from Vanessa. Henry says that Vanessa should not have said anything about his health because he is fine. He says Vanessa is over-reacting about his health and acting over-confident about the upcoming meeting. But Henry feels it is his fault because he raised her to be cutthroat in business, sort of the way a man who has a son would raise him. He apologizes for his irritation, but said that sometimes it bothers him he didn't have a son to teach those things to. Henry saids he feels like he failed her as a father.

Quinton is at hospital to release Rebecca to his care,Nola goes to hospital to inquire and sees Rebecca from a distance,but doesn't want to be noticed by quinton while there,so she leaves.Meanwhile quinton talks to Henry about Vanessa in the Cafeteria.
