What, and black men are not materialistic? How about all those thugs in the ghetto who sell drugs, making lots of money and wearing bling bling and gold teeth and don't want to get a real job?

If she has a professional job, she's materialistic. If she finds a man with money, she's a gold digger. Seems like guys like yourself are never happy, no matter what she does. Amazing how you're picking on everything she does. Hey, at least she's working and not living off Welfare.

having a job does not make someone materialistic. materialism is when you happiness is a based on your ability to obtain material goods. the fact that others may be materialistic does not remove the spotlight on professional black women being materialistic. materialism is a problem whether one has the money or not. the professional black women has been brainwashed into thinking that she needs to be materialistic and some go along with it just b/c they have the money to do so.

Black women aren't really all that materialistic from what I've seen. White women are more likely to be gold diggers than Black women. The girls I went to high school with often said things like, "his checks are our checks. My checks are my checks."

The Black girls who are gold diggers tend to be more obvious about it while the white gold diggers keep that hidden until it's too late.

I have no problem with interracial dating. Just watch your back. This has been very interesting.

Materialistic girls are the ones that are so specific about what they wear, how the portray themselves... iPhone, Starbucks, BMW, Abercrombie, Gucci, Prada, too much makeup, expensive handbags, always texting etc. I see so many black girls doing this - I think it's insecurity

If men werent soo judgemental on LOOKS and went for us women because we are soo pretty and attractive and they see other men wanting us, then us PRETTY/EDUCATED ladies with things going for us wouldnt be as spoilt as we are!
