City of Heroes - Costume Contest Union Server

Short vid from a cossie comp on May 9 2008. Unfortunately I arrived late and did not have time to shoot more takes, and the contest was also disturbed by Ultimate Healer, a player previously banned for griefing.

Seen in this short clip is the following heroes in alphabetical order: Antitheus'D, Anuxxi, Big Bro Smoke, Blazin Shotta, Burgundy Bullseye, Devil Lude, Disambiguation, Eyes in disguise, Frenzied Fire, Fro, Kinetique, Kuma, Orion's Protagonist, SDL, Sergeant Bjorn Armos, South Star, Spotlighted, White Arcanist, Xenopunk, X-posure.

There was some more heroes taking part, but my zoom out did not reach further and sadly I had not time to take more shots.

Since there was commotion caused by Ultimate Healer's griefing I dont know who won the contest, also I was filming and not really paying attention to discussion in chat.

Music: Vangelis - "To the unknown man" from the album Spiral 1977, sadly shortened of course to just fit the movie, real length is 9.06 minutes.

Filmed in game with Fraps.

Edited in VirtualDub and Windows Movie Maker, with test runs in trakAxPC, Subtitleworkshop and Media Subtitler.

Amazing observation. In a mmo with the most advanced character customization of all it's no wonder there will be vast differencies. But then again, I suspect you dont really care about such things.

Yes of course it would have been nice with more takes, angles and such, and why that is lacking is stated in the info text, but that is to hard to read I guess. But then again you behave as well as Ultimate Healer so you better go look elsewhere.

Griefing is when you play only, or mostly, just to sabotage the fun for other players. See more on griefing and griefer at wikipedia (cant link here).

City of Heroes is a game with very little griefing though, unfortunately this was such an occasion.

My costumes usually are based of my powers and have a main color and a secondary color that look good together, never random XD
