Anny Ondra - Joe and Max 1

For the second time, in 2002, was again making movie about fight between Joe Louis and Max Schmeling.

This TV movie is full of a lot of nice things, like music and dress, fight scenes looks very real... But there is absolutly wrong casting. Peta Wilson is just so tall. Til Schweiger is much more better as Max.

Scenes are set in 1936... Rolf Kanies is Adolf Hitler and Wilfried Hochholdinger is Joseph Goebbels.

Max had a compelling reason to lose the second match. He refused to be propoganda for the Reich. I wonder if he threw the second match. This is a great movie. Joe and Max have so many terrific parallels.
