  • Thanks for your comments on all of my videos. This is indeed the most complex issue of our time and there is nothing less than complete polarization of opinion on how to deal with this modern day fascism. However, I don't think that Al Queda is open to dialogue with us. Either we allow them to destroy us (9/11 style) or we bring thier war to them and fight them on thier turf. I personally don't think that any kind of international dialogue will reach or influence muslim extremists in any way.

  • On one Side "Hardcore Capitalism" draining the Earths recources in rapid tempo without taking responsibility for severe pollution(contract of Kyoto?)On the other side"Dark Age"Islam existing with undiscussible religious Rules that considers the West as a decadent Society.Without serious(re) evaluation of these extreme Polarities(by both sides)nothing will change for the comming 20 years.

  • Unfortunately, I agree. As far as fascist islam is concerned, there are definate signs that moderate islam is beginning to speak up in an effort to marginalize those with 8th century mentalities. I support that. I believe education is the key.

  • I propose to behead all spammers and then stick thier heads up their asses. I have recieved no less then 10 spam messages on this video in the last two days. Maybe some mother fucker does not like what I have to say.

  • I am an Israeli observant Jewish person, who has servd in the IDF in a combat unit, and seen some things... Well, thank you for posting. I too feel heartened by this development. Listening to you made me realize that the reason this leadership comes mostly from the young is because they had less time to get indoctrinated into fear... The battle field of what's possible will be decided in Education - not just in schools obviously.

  • Yes, it really is tragic when incidents like this happen. It is beyond me how some people and groups try to use religion in this way. True religion is meant to be about forgiveness, tolerance, and peace. Unfortunately there are extremists everywhere. I think One Voice has the right strategy though: don't let extremists define who we are, otherwise they win. One Voice show a better way. So far 250,000 Israelis and Palestinians have joined. A great start. I am hopeful :)

  • Hey, its been a while since anyone commented on this, so thanks for that. Yes, it is very complecated and I do agree that education on both sides is the key. I am also vey supportive of young educated Muslims struggling to make a difference for themselves. However, recent incidents in the UK where it was actually medical doctors involved in terrorism makes me wonder. It does not fit the picture I imagined. In the end I think we are very different, but I try to be hopeful still.

  • Just wanted to add that I also believe that education and mutual understanding is half the solution to solving this conflict. Both sides need to try and understand the political dynamics of the other. Both Israel & PA have, for their own reasons, made decisions that were popular at home but had the effect of hurting the peace process and the chance of a peaceful solution. We need leaders prepared to take unpopular decisions, for the sake of peace.

  • Very thoughtful commentary-I agree with your comments. It's only thru both sides building common ground we're going to make progress. You mentioned 'a solution both sides can live with', I think that's key:to realise that neither side can expect to be totally happy every detail of a settlement, but it will be a massive improvement, and give everyone a chance to live normal, peaceful lives with their neighbours. (If you'd be interested in watching a documentary about this conflict, check my vids.)

  • Very complex Stratman, you could be shooting in the Blue with "High tech"stuff but does it make any difference against an a total invissible enemy ,wasn't this the same problem in Nam? Did the US win this war? Isn't it about time we got into a totaly other era putting in all our efforts to start a dialog on an International level, even against the worse enemy?Victor.
