Our quest to reach out and connect with one another is the same quest that all beings in the Universe have or will eventually set out to accomplish. Why else would we pump billions of dollars into the search for ET's? I type this message because I am a rational thinker. It makes no sense that we are the only intelligent being in this universe and the quicker we as a human race accepts the possibility that we are not alone, the quicker we can work together to improve our way of life.

Also, if we were proven with hard evidence that UFO's exist and there are other forms of intelligent life, then the existence of ET's in our universe should not cause any religious person dismiss the belief in God. In my opinion, God is too powerful to limit Himself to the creation of one intelligent being in the universe. He created us just as He created the ET's.

When it comes to the thought of whether ET's exist, there is nothing our world should be scared of. If a race of advanced beings(advanced enough to travel so far to get here) were undoubtedly our enemy, they would have the power to eliminate us easily with no chance to defeat them. Otherwise they would never even try, being the intelligent beings they are. The fact is, if they are visiting us, they must be here for a different reason, maybe to help us or simply study us.

Think about this man. They only go up BECAUSE there is a fire making hot air. They WILL NOT go down if there is a fire. SO they only go down once the fire is out.

Cool lanterns, have to make sth like that myself some time.
As for ETs (not sure how they made their way into these comments) - considering the ammount of planets I doubt ours is the only one with life in one form or another.
I also doubt "aliens" are 1,3 meter tall carbon based oxygen breathing bipedals, that sounds more like limited human imagination.
Real ET's are formed by the laws of physics (which we're able to understand fractions of) and not a hollywood art division/FX artists.
