Yates Mill in operation - snake's eye view

In September 2010, Yates Mill Associates had the pleasure of helping to show Yates Mill to guests from the Society for the Preservation of Old Mills. We normally don't allow visitors underneath the mill for safety reasons, but this was a special group with experience in this environment. This video is a view rarely seen of the waterwheel and other equipment from beneath the mill. At the end, you get a peep of the underside of the millstones we use to grind corn. PLEASE DO NOT GO UNDER THE MILL YOURSELF - it's wildlife habitat, and it's very slippery.
