9 Year old Julie Drapkin of Shaolin Kung Fu Academy (Sifu John Vanegas), Pembroke Pines, FL, does a variety of forms at competitions (International Chinese Martial Arts Tournament, Disney and Pan American)and local demonstrations. FYI - She is using a 5 lb, 9-ring combat steel Kwan Dao, not a lightweight Wushu weapon or pudao and that is a traditional weight broadsword.

Awesome sister:) My favorite clip was the first one in the park--all of the kids were riding their bikes until you started your form. The next time the camera panned by they had all stopped and were watching=)

Yes, some think it's a pudao but it's not. It weighs about 5 pounds.
