*For whatever reason they couldn't hold it off for one week (which was probably by design), and instead we had thousands of pro-WWF shitting on a match which really wasn't all that bad. I remember marking out at the time because while I was a WWF guy for many years, from 2000-2001 I couldn't get any WWF coverage (except 3 week-delayed WWF Superstars) and had to watch Nitro and Thunder for my wrestling fix, so I was very well familiar with Buff Bagwell and Booker T by the time the invasion came.

@animemron Well said. Buff Bagwell has said in several interviews that it the whole WCW invasion angle was doomed from the start (as many others will concur). For whatever reason they had a WCW World Title match main event a WWF show in Tacoma, Washington, yet the following week Raw was emanating from Atlanta, Georgia, which of course was WCW country for many years.*
