@NolanBryanLynch probably because at the time (1988) he d realised his marriage to Julianne was a mismatch and that Patti was more the one for him...this is a powerful album and as always with Bruce his live performances add a whole extra dimension

This song strikes a strange chord with me... I didn't realise that since I bought the album at the start of the year that I would've have played this particular song close to 100 times on iTunes alone... I never noticed that I was always drawn to this particular one.
