Help Your Baby Sleep Safely

In 2007, 14 babies died in Stanislaus County because of unsafe sleep situations.

This video demonstrates unsafe and safe sleeping arrangements. The unsafe examples are taken from real life situations where babies died. The safe examples come from the recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Thanks for the video. My grandson died at his babysitters. I made sure she had a pack-n-play and knew the risks of SIDS. She knew to put my grandson to sleep on his back for his naps. She neglected my warning. His autopsy came back, he died of SIDS and was in the prone position, napping on a queen size pillow top bed. I regret I never checked on his sleeping arrangements. My mission is to make sure parents and caregivers are aware of the importance of a safe sleep environment. Thanks for video.
