I think you just get mad because you spent so much time building up your base and stuff. Like, if I lose in an epic drawn out game, I usually thank my opponant for the good match, it's when I lose to some uber fast DT rush that I get angry, b/c I spent so much time building up just to lose without a single fight.

You know why you get angry when you lose at Starcraft, cuz unlike other games, Starcraft is a battle of wits and strategy and has some psychological aspect to it. other games require not much skill or not enough variables for a truly competitive play just imo.

Totally agree with you, final. As a beginner I still play and lose to the CPU, and I can't tell you how many times I've blown my top after a loss (usually after a 2-hour, mined-out marathon). Good for Hero...I love his attitude.

yeah it's awesome he was able to laugh about that loss. I've been recently feeling that SC is a game that is hard to take a loss without being angry. Unlike some other games, where even if people lose, they say it was still fun to play, I always see (on bnet) people who lose making excuses or insulting people, plus when I lose (which is often) even if I know I'm way out of my league, I get angry/upset when losing.
Though Hero may have changed my mind on this whole subject. He's a good sport.
