Not all Chiropractic Adjustments are the same. There are different techniques used. Manual, Korn Specific Technique (KST) or Torque Release Technique (TRT). Today Dr. Steve talks about the TORQUE RELEASE TECHNIQUE including a demonstration of a Torque Release adjustment. • Chiropractic: Manipulating the skeletal structure in order to have softer tissues "fall into place"

Physio: Manipulating the softer tissues in order to have the skeletal structure "fall into place"

  • @tucsondog I suppose that's one way of looking at things. With those defenitions how would you differentiate therapeutic massage from physiotherapy? Do you see any other potential differences between chiropractic and physiotherapy?

  • did you adjust right sacrum P-R , C5 on PL, and inferior occiput on left?

I am a new to torque release technique

whats are basic scan protocol for TRT?

  • @wonderfultiger It was actually left lateral sacrum (S2) with left torque, right rotated C2 with left torque, then left lateral Occiput with right torque. The basic scan protocol includes scanning palpation for body tension and temperature, observation of the patient's breathing, assessing the side of the patient's short leg, testing for cervical syndrome, and looking for a positive or negative Derfield test.

  • Sorry but for me it looks like a scam. Did anyone actually benefit from this?

  • @GiselleBellyDancer What about it gives you that impression?

  • @mattvkpc if he cared for the patients he'd send them to a real doctor

  • this guy exhibits a nice balance of professionalism and genuine care for his patients.

I should have mentioned this part initially: Those quotes came from a doctor I saw at the hospital. I injured my back quite badly in a football accident and when I asked what he recommended, he the above things, and said it was my choice, but both would work just fine. I went through 8 weeks of both, and several "touch ups" over the following year. Both helped immensely and when I went for my 8 week reassessment, and the dr said that the combination had fast tracked my progress

  • @Chirogeneration

    thanks for response.
