  • Reply to Ritter - water color has many techniques, and we need to know most of it enable us to really control and play with water color. Is not easy yet not hard after sometimes, u just need to know how the water works with colors and lots of practice so that u could understand how the water color runs when they are mixed. Hope this answer u.

Hi there, sorry for the VERY LATER reply, anyway, i try to reply you know :)

    1. I like to paint with No.12 brush when i use water color. Good quality of brush, cheap brush piss me off.

    2. I use Alpha or Fiber Castle water colour and it;s in tube.

    3. I use water colour paper which is with texture and hard paper, cos that makes the water colour runs best and smooth. ^ ^

  • Do have any advice regarding which watercolor technique produces the most graphic results? I want to use watercolors almost like markers or colored pencils to color in a few ink drawings. I want to emphasize the contours rather than blur them. I've only seen a few artists who use this technique but I'm not sure how they achieve their results. Is the glazing technique best for producing subjects with well defined edges? At any rate, very nice work

  • @enigmaticfille

erm... in fact, it is the matter of how you understand about your brush, and how the brush works and behave when you put in the colour and water. Is like you are CONTROLING the nature but not the nature controling, the nature of "HOW THE BRUSH WORKS ON PAPER", most people coundn't get it nicely is becos they give up too early before they even get into knowing it... ^ ^
