The City of London is an independent city state with a The Lord Mayor of London not elected who's position is to meet and greet foreign dignitaries and investors on behalf of the government of the U.K. It is amongst the most expensive square mile of real estate in the world and free from tax i.e the 1% also the tax office is currently trying to get a lot of missing landlords to pay their council tax as they don't even like to do that!
