Kimberley and Deni in an acoustic performance during Kimberley's guest appearance on Deni's TV show, "DUETS WITH DENI". This version is directly from the show archives and features Kimberley's entertaining banter. Kimberley Rew is best known as the founder of Katrina and the Waves and was also guitarist in the Soft Boys from 1978 to 1980. Two of his best-known compositions, both written for Katrina and the Waves, are "Walking On Sunshine" and '"Going Down to Liverpool" (covered by the Bangles).

Deni Bonet is a singer/songwriter and world-class electric violinist. She was an original cast member of National Public Radio's premier music show, MOUNTAIN STAGE and has performed with Cyndi Lauper, REM, Sarah McLachlan, Robyn Hitchcock, etc. before forming her own highly regarded band. She's appeared at Lilith Fair, performed on Saturday Night Live, Conan, and the Today Show.

Deni quit the classical world to pursue a solo career because she hated wearing black and having to sit still! The Wall Street Journal recently described Deni's music as "like Sheryl Crow meets the B52's". She's got a new CD called "LAST GIRL ON EARTH" that will be released in early March.

  • This song rocks and so does Deni!

  • i think he can't sing ...

  • Kimberley did a good version, and pretty impressive as Katrina's definitive vocals is a tough act to to follow. I like how he got into the groove of the track unself-consciously.

  • this is just amazing..made me smile =)
