UofA Junior Musical Theatre Major Christopher Violett singing "Role of a Lifetime" from Bare: A Pop Opera at the S.O.S. Productions cabaret, Sincerely Yours.
my opinion is that his voice is great and the deep quality is fine, what undermines the song is that he is overplaying the emotions rather than letting it flow.
I don't think his voice is too deep for this song at all. I think the song suits itself to Baritones more than tenors. This reminds me of Michael Arden's version, which is a good thing =)
hey-i'm a senior musical theatre major at ball state university gearing up for our nyc showcase audition and i wanted to maybe use this song-but i couldn't find the sheet music anywhere...how did you get your hands on it?? your help would be greatly appreciated!! great job..ps.

I have to agree with Wicked... his depth seems to sometimes pull him under the pitch.

I think you sound great, but in my opinion I think your voice is too deep for this song.
