Great recording. Terry Gilkyson and the Easy Riders were the most direct archetype of the Kingston Trio and their imitators. You can hear it in ballads like this as well as the upbeat tunes -- calypso, etc. It's a shame they are rarely mentioned when the history of popular folk music in America is told.
