  • What is the idea of the war songs??? What is the connection???

  • @kassn8 They are actually antiwar songs, sung by British Empire troops during the first world war. Real songs. real soldiers, and real attitudes towards the war itself. I think that is the last of them. Personally, as an unwilling Vietnam draftee, I have no use for the death, damage and destruction that mines or war cause. Sure enough, I checked and from 10-20 the songs are eclectic, but enjoyable.(or absent), usually appealing to most people. 19 and 20 have no background, and neither 21.
