This redesigned walker offer stability and forces the person to walk erect. It is not for everyone, but taller people might find it easier to negotiate. It works along with the same principles as the "Campbell Cane. We purchased a few from Black Bear Medical, and worked with a local cycle shop to "soup it up" for $25. Mikes Cycle will change the ugly plastic handles for soft ATV grips, re-drill new alignment holes and set it up for anyone wanting to customize their walker. As of yet, you cannot buy this modification anywhere, and I want you to know how to do it yourself. I have left one with a doctor, who feels some of his patients will benefit. The model that I purchased from Tom Jones at Black Bear, is the most reasonable and easiest to modify. Most of all I want you to be safe and have a healthier life. My canes are used by over 100 people, from the homeless to a former president. He is sort of homeless now. See the other videos to see how they work. I am currently looking to develop a simple low cost exercise device that will help in rehab. If it works, you will see it.

  • Thanks John.

I was invited to 3 medical convention last year, and have a large number of doctors, nurses and chiropractors, that believe this modification will aid people with stability issues, You cannot just flip the handles, and make it work. There are modifications that are necessary, and will only work on specific models. Yesterday, a 93 year old gentleman told me that he feels safer walking more erect. Your inner ear does not function properly when you are looking at the floor or ground

  • Thanks for the support. All we need now is an investor. I believe it so strongly, that I would license it so someone. over 30 medical people, and a medical supply company said, "Market It".. Almost 68 and retired, need young folks to kick in. I am getting doctor referrals for conversions, and set up a local bike shop to do the work. Once an investor is found, we will approach a manufacturer that already makes walker, because the modified design would be a simple adaptation. THANKS

  • You don't need it, it's why you don't understand. Flipping these handles over pushes the patient backward and changes the center of gravity. Of course, if you're already healthy, then you don't need it anyway!

  • Thanks for the great info! It will be a great help! :-)
