  • it is like a resistor the amp meter could not handle all the amps so it is calibrated to the meter you still get your full power going through the shunt

  • baddery??????? wtf are ya talking about

  • class nice job

  • Wo! This is so pro, can i have a break down on how much u spent? Someone told me that a good system is about £10,000 ($16,000).

  • @mccunecp I know I can build one but so far all the regulars I find can only handel a input of up to 37 volts and most wind turbines even thought they are 24 volts but if disconcted from the battery can produce up to 80 to 100 volts and I want to protect my low voltage current meeters.and I love your set up.

  • nice set up I have the same coleman charge controller what did you use as the power supply for it. I'm going to run a 24 volt system and I haven been told if some how the battries are dissconnect the winturbine can fry the led read outs and I want a voltage regular for them to make sure they dont burn out what did you use for the power supply because I fell all read outs need that just incase a battery disconnct so they dont burn out from over voltage.

  • Where do you buy some of the wiring? terminals etc..

  • Where do we buy these boxes from? also what wire gauges are you using. P.S I'm building a similar system

    Thanks

  • Nice volt meters. You can get them on Amazon for around $20.

  • could somone explain what a shunt is i know you need it for reading amps but thats all i know and im not even sure if im right about that

  • Great video, thank you for all your time and effort in this! very nice!

  • @davevanden1 dude, quit being a douch. We all know what he meant
