This is a promo video I did in 1991. I was an ultralight flight instructor for a few years, then did a short documentary on ultralights in film school... and as bad as that was, they STILL hired me to do this one! :)

  • Man, I beg to differ. I have both these engines and if you look at 2.08 closely you can see the engine sits upright. The carbs are attached to the cylinders (503 piston porting) .As opposed to sitting in line with the crankshaft (582 Rotary valve) represented by the boss just above the prop on this being a b-gearbox. The engine is shrouded to direct cooling air. The 582 is water cooled and does not need this. Also there is no cooling hoses and radiator in this shot. This is defiantly the 503

  • @videoclipits Hmm, okay. Maybe the retail version was to have the 582 but this prototype only had the 503. Good eye.

  • the engine is a is a 503 not a 582

  • @videoclipits No, this is not the Rotax 503 (50HP) air cooled engine. This is the Rotax 582 (65HP) liquid cooled engine.

  • want to Ultra Light and create more contact where. I am in Thailand.

  • ooosome but i want one with 100hp 4 stroke !

  • @matthewjulianstubbs I own an RX650. It is registered C-IDJW. I live in Chinook alta. I think I flew in that aircraft with Dennis as the pilot. Lots of problems with this aircraft. I have done a number of modifications to my machine which makes it much safer. This was an aircraft which TC really didn't wish to have a lot to do with, or let it be registered as an advanced. I have piles of info on the RX650

  • A roll cage? W H A T ??? Are you serious? LMAO maybe you should just buy a car then.
