But if you have the skill, experience and strength to shoot a heavier bow it will allow you to make accurate shots further down range. I just think we focus too much on what you shoot rather then how you shoot. Great shot by the way!

A well placed arrow, such as this arrow looks to be, shot from 40 yards with a good 50 lbs bow will get the job done well. In BC it is illegal to hunt with less then 40 lbs anyways. Doesn't really matter what arrow etc. what really matters is getting that arrow on target. If you hit the lungs (both are better) with any arrow from any bow your animal is not running far! It's the skill of the hunter that kills the bear not his bow setup.

I shoot a PSE X-Force at 70 lbs the arrows are Carbon Revolution Speed Pro Max SS, broadhead is a 85gr slick trick. at 28in draw this set-up spits em out at 341fps........ of couse non of this means anything if you can't hit what you are aiming at....... Thanks for all the positive feedback
