    Good job, I am also interested in the design and construction of the machine.

    The diameters of the two separate rollers would not have to be the same. Makes no difference other than the added torque of cranking the small one that drives the larger one doing the work.

    Love the design of that roller!

  • Interesting slab roller. I have seen a discussion on another video about a similar design. On there a comment was made that using a smaller roller with a bigger one would cause binding but that doesn't seem to be a problem with yours. Might have a go at making one as pottery equipment is very expensive in the UK .... and probably expensive in the US also!
